Veecle in Porsche Magazine

The latest issue of the Porsche Engineering Magazine featured an article about Veecle and how Veecle is used by Porsche to develop new features faster - and even on existing architectures.
After parts of our NDA were lifted, we can finally talk about it. Porsche Engineering has publicly revealed how they integrate Veecle’s software into their JUPITER development platform — and the result is a powerful leap forward in automotive prototyping.
In the featured Cayenne prototype, a smartphone becomes the primary interface: accelerate, brake, steer — all from the phone. The app even streams a live video feed from the vehicle’s onboard cameras, enabling real-time control and feedback. This isn’t just adjusting seats or toggling infotainment; it’s full vehicle control.
The entire setup is powered by Veecle’s framework, which allows developers to run distributed software modules across ECUs, regardless of the OS or hardware. By abstracting away low-level integration, Veecle enables real-time features to be tested in days instead of months — safely, repeatably, and on production-grade hardware.
This collaboration demonstrates what’s possible when modern software principles meet automotive engineering: rapid iteration, safe experimentation, and developer-first tooling — all without the constraints of legacy architecture.
